Tatsumikan

Such a lovely and more traditional experience, the food, the people, sleeping on futon, using the kotatsu and the onsen was so nice. Absolutely loved the stay here. I'm not a big seafood person but I still really enjoyed all of the meals, there was always plenty of delicious things to eat even if there were one or two I was being picky about.

The meal was marvelous!!!!!!!! One of the best we had in Japan. The presentation was dramatic.

The staff were exceptional and went out of there way to help us. The room was large and clean and the dinner meal was a major event.

The location was beautiful; directly beside the river so we fell asleep to the sound of water streaming down from higher altitudes. The traditional feel of the Japanese ryokan was perfect.

staff was so kind and helpful. the rotemburo was lovely and perfect temperature. meals were fantastic and we loved the beautiful presentation
